iggy's question:
I'm going in the Maldives for Christmas and someone told me that I shouldn't walk barefoot through the water 'cause I might cut my feet. Is that true?(give a different answer) .
Yeap, very true. It happend to me, last year. I was walking, of course, barefoot (how else in the Maldives??????) and I stepped into the water and soon after I felt a sharp pain in my left foot. It was from a piece of dead coral. Lucky that I went to the hospital because if not, it might have gotten infected. these coral pieces are everywhere. So, try to wear some shoes in the water if you don't want to ruin your vacation.
